Catalyze Klamath Falls is just over a week away and we have seven student teams competing for $16,000! Join us on April 21 at 4 pm for the Catalyze Challenge finals to learn more about Find New Trails and other exciting business concepts. The Catalyze Challenge is supported by investments from community sponsors: Avista Utilities, Business ˿����Ƶ, the City of Klamath Falls, Klamath County, Klamath County Economic Development Association - KCEDA, Klamath IDEA Center for Entrepreneurship, VertueLab, ˿����Ƶ Small Business Development Center Network, and the Wendt Family Foundation.

Civil Engineering Field trip! 🚧 See that giant structure in the center of the room? That’s called a truss (the specific shape is known as a Warren truss, one of the most common types), and it’s used to stabilize static weight in bridges, making sure nothing falls and people remain safe. 🚧 See those tiny people standing under it?

Thanks to the hundreds of students and their guests who came to visit campus today for 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 💙 AND thanks to all of the staff who made this event so successful by decorating, leading groups on tours of campus, housing, clubs, and providing everyone with cotton candy and other treats to spare (that includes you two, Noah and Hootie!). 💙 A special shout-out goes to students who were cooperative with the chaos of the day. The Alumni Battle of the Decades returns in 2 weeks! Who will take out the teens? The 2010s are the reigning champions of last year's Alumni Battle of the Decades: a friendly competition where all alumni from the 1950s to the historic 2020s compete to determine which decade can join together with the most alumni donors on Give A Hoot Day! The challenge bell rings at midnight (PST) on April 20, 2022! Thanks to a fellow alumnus, $22 will be added to the first 300 alumni donations in addition to the 1:1 Give A Hoot Day matching opportunities! For example, your $100 gift grows to $222!
