Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ (Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech) is a public university based in Klamath Falls and the Portland metropolitan area, with a presence throughout the Pacific Northwest. We’re also Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s only polytechnic university, meaning we emphasize technical subjects and applied sciences, and encourage students to pursue their passions and professional opportunities through internships, externships, and field experiences. But our distinction doesn’t stop there. Through our nearly 50 bachelor’s and master's degree programs, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech offers a rigorous, experiential education.

Founded in 1947 as an institution to train and re-educate World War II veterans, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech has grown immensely in size, scope, and service. Today, we’re accredited by the and our student population is near 5,000, with an average student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1.

In 2021, the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Legislature designated Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech "Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ's Polytechnic University." As a polytechnic university, we specialize in engineering, technology, healthcare, business, communication and applied sciences such as psychology and environmental science. Our faculty and industry partners work hard to ensure students have the resources and training to tackle the challenges of both today and tomorrow.

Submitting an application is the best way to start the journey toward officially joining the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech family. It’s important to keep our deadlines in mind, as well as our academic requirements. Our Klamath Falls campus offers two housing facilities, where students further build their campus social and academic connections. The Residence Hall offers double and single rooms, and the Village hosts students in apartments that include four individual bedrooms and common living areas. The Portland-Metro campus does not have a residence hall or dormitory on campus, but there are many apartment buildings near campus and in Wilsonville and the surrounding communities. It’s never too late to find your spot at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech. We welcome transfer students and work to help you seamlessly transfer to the university. Generally, transfer students should have 36 quarter-hour credits or 24 semester-hour credits, a 2.25 cumulative GPA and have met other academic requirements.
