Congratulations to our thirty-four Medical Laboratory Science students who had a celebration of graduation on Saturday, wrapping up their studies at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.
MLS is a highly competitive program located at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Portland-Metro. The program trains students in labs built to spec, so students learn in the same environments where they will eventually work.
MLS graduates can be found working as medical laboratory generalists in hospitals, clinics, or commercial laboratories; as specialists in areas such as microbiology, hematology, molecular biology/DNA, immunology, stem cell/bone marrow labs; or as quality management specialists in hospitals or industry operations such as pharmaceuticals.
The MLS program between Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and OHSU is the only four-year degree program of its kind in the state and the largest in the Pacific Northwest.
