˿����Ƶ Tech is proud of the eight students and two instructors from our Dental Hygiene program in Klamath Falls who traveled to Grenada this summer to provide much-needed dental care to underserved rural communities. As part of the International Externship Program (IEP), the team set up clinics at two schools, offering dental services for eight hours a day over five days. The student team—Sierra Avril, Rachel Broskey, Kylie Berg, Maria Corona, Ally Crowell, Cas Harrod, Melissa Lee, and Audrey Vanderhoff—worked under the guidance of faculty instructors Jeannie Bopp and Lois Goeres.

Congratulations to ˿����Ƶ Tech graduate student Serena Moha, EI for presenting her research at the 2024 ˿����Ƶ State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying (OSBEELS) Symposium. The symposium gathered more than 1,000 ˿����Ƶ engineering and surveying professionals to highlight impactful work being done throughout the state.   Moha is originally from Warrenton, Ore., and will graduate from ˿����Ƶ Tech in 2025 with a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering. Moha began the research with fellow student Kacie Schmidt.
