#MadLoveMonday kudos for the ˿����Ƶ Tech business students who continue to make us proud! This team won two competitions this year. The first case was for the development of a marketing plan for an innovative medical technology startup and the second case was for a cryptocurrency company. As part of their win, they were provided an opportunity for a paid internship with the competition sponsor, Coinsource. Three of the students took advantage of the internship this summer (the other student already had a full-time job offer prior to graduation).

Thank you to another wonderful alumni 🤍 “I have worked at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital for 4 1/2 years now. We are a 25 bed critical-access rural hospital. I love being a respiratory therapist because of the variety. As RTs, we are capable of treating a large array of patients with countless therapies, medications, and procedures. We work in all units of the hospital at Hood River: FBC, ER, general medicine, ICU, PACU, outpatient, and same day surgery.

Congratulations to two seniors in OIT Civil Engineering who were each awarded scholarships from the ˿����Ƶ American Public Works Association (APWA) Scholastic Foundation. 🎉🏅 Garrett Oman was awarded the APWA Civil Engineering Scholarship to continue pursuing a career in the broad field of Public Works.

Over the last year, ˿����Ƶ Tech's Business Management department has developed an exciting new program that provides high school students from around the state a way to accelerate their path to a college degree. Students at participating high schools who are active members of business clubs and take dual credit courses can apply for this accelerated pathway to a college degree. The program guides students into early credit opportunities while in high school, resulting in considerable savings of time and money with a seamless transfer into a business program at ˿����Ƶ Tech.

You've gotten ˿����Ƶ Tech to the top of U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges rankings once again! Today, U.S. News and World Report released the 2021 rankings of “Best Colleges,” and ˿����Ƶ Tech has been ranked as the No. 2 public college in the West. 🦉 Read more:

Today the presidents of ˿����Ƶ Tech and Klamath Community College (KCC) strengthened their institutional partnership by signing an agreement to promote college access, affordability, and bachelor’s degree completion for Air Force personnel enrolled through Community College of the Air Force at KCC. A huge thank you to 173rd Fighter Wing, Kingsley Field, who was a crucial partner in developing the program at both institutions to benefit air personnel in Klamath Falls and throughout the nation. Alumni Spotlight ⭐️ Hi, I'm Evan, I graduated from ˿����Ƶ Tech in 2017. I have gone on to work at Seattle Children's Hospital, one of the top pediatric facilities in the country. I have worked here for over 2 years now and I love it. Working with kids is what I wanted to do for a long time. I enjoy being able to go on journeys with these kids some from birth. Many of these kids can be very sick from birth and may require respiratory interventions. Being able to bring them from a bleak outlook to giving them a chance at life is so satisfying.

Spending his summer working as a project engineer intern with Adroit Construction Co., junior Mathew Dougan is leaving his mark on ˿����Ƶ Tech, literally. Since beginning his internship with Adroit in June, Mathew has been helping the construction team on the Center for Excellence in Engineering and Technology (CEET) building at ˿����Ƶ Tech’s Klamath Falls campus. “In the time that I have interned with Adroit, I have been able to connect many of the concepts from my classes to the real world.
