Give a round of applause for Mario Segura and Hanna Wolf, who created a natural tree structure with photovoltaic solar leaves and a vertical wind turbine to generate power and took home the $10,000 grand prize at the Inventor Collegiate Challenge! 🌳🏆👏 As the overall winner of the competition, they also earned a slot at a national competition organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this fall. The second team from ˿Ƶ Tech, BioMass Gas, also received high honors, earning fourth place!

˿Ƶ virtually celebrated the Class of 2021 last weekend, Saturday, June 12. Among the 848 individuals, some who received multiple degrees, are graduates of the inaugural Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. First announced in 2019, faculty designed the Cybersecurity degree to meet the significant need facing ˿Ƶ and the country. The program allows students to venture into this highly sought-after and exciting field, confident that security professionals are essential in today’s data-driven society.
