Props to the student team from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech, Electerro for claiming the top prize at this year’s Invent Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ competition! Electerro’s prototype is a solar and wind generator built to resemble a birch tree which promises to deliver power without the impact of utility-scale electricity generation. Student entrepreneurs Hannah Wolf, a renewable energy engineer who just graduated from her undergraduate program and is beginning her graduate program, and Mario Segura, a senior mechanical engineer, took home the $10,000 prize as well as tied with a team from Portland State University for the People’s Choice Award. We are so proud! Read more at: PC: InventOR #oregontech #studententrepreneurs #inventoregon
