Join KTEC 89.5fm and Campus Activities on Saturday for their annual Music Garden event at Cornett Field on campus! The event will be from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with music starting at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome, and the first 100 students who attend will get a food/drink voucher that can be used at any of the food/drink vendors! Students are FREE General Admission (non-student) $5 It may get chilly at the event, so we suggest bringing a jacket. We hope to see you this Saturday, May 4th, 2024!

This past weekend, a group of four of ˿����Ƶ Tech’s Bio-Health Sciences students (Sydney Dalin, Gage Delzotti, Lydia Poss, and Carley Rogers) traveled to the Microbiology Student Symposium at UC Berkeley. In addition to hearing about cutting-edge research from graduate students and postdocs and keynote addresses from faculty at Stanford and Duke, these students presented two posters on their work this year studying the cyanobacteria from Upper Klamath Lake. They also enjoyed meals at some local Berkeley institutions. The student posters will be displayed at IdeaFest on June 7th.

Day 3 Comp Update!! We started the day with a very strong acceleration run awarding us of 14th place endurance start. We competed in every dynamic event and are very happy with our performance. We went early for suspension and traction, and got very close to conquering the course before it was easier and worn down. Day 4 Comp Update: OTR Baja had an amazing 4th and final day. Despite a few ups and downs, we ended up finishing 11th in endurance! The car performed very well, we only experienced one mechanical failure (a snap ring in the upright) after quickly swapping uprights we got back on track and finished the race out with no issues. We all had an amazing time.
