A Little Bit Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Me
My name is Luis Espinoza, and I come from a loving and supportive Hispanic family. Both of my parents are immigrants and came to this country to give a beautiful life to their kids. When I was born, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, although it is very minor and only affected the right side of my body. It still held me back from feeling like a normal kid. During my youth, I was constantly brought to Shriners Hospital where the amazing nurses and therapists helped me control my muscle movements and feel as comfortable as I can be. I am now 18 and feel better than ever. However, when I graduate from my time at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech, I plan on giving back the same amount of care and love I was given when I was a kid. I aim to be the most amazing nurse ever for children like me.
Why I Chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and My Major
I'm drawn to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech's polytechnic focus, offering hands-on learning rather than traditional lectures. The small class sizes provide a conducive learning environment. Opting for nursing aligns with my passion for aiding others. I aspire to become a pediatric nurse, with a dream of contributing to Shriners Hospital.
My Plans After Graduation
Upon graduation, I aspire to realize my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse, making a difference at Shriners Hospital. Furthermore, I'm eager to apply my nursing skills to non-profit organizations, volunteering within underrepresented communities. My goal is to contribute to the well-being of those in need and leave a positive impact through my dedication and compassion.
