˿Ƶ Health & Science University (OHSU) Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at ˿Ƶ (OIT)

The pre-nursing program at the ˿Ƶ (OIT) is designed to help students complete the prerequisite coursework necessary for entrance into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at ˿Ƶ Health & Science University (OHSU). This pre-nursing program prepares students to apply to the OHSU School of Nursing program. Once admitted, students spend an additional three years completing the required coursework to earn their BSN.
Through a partnership between OIT and OHSU, students have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing, with coursework delivered on the ˿Ƶ Tech campus. The BSN degree is awarded by OHSU.
Faculty from OHSU provide instruction for clinical coursework, while faculty from ˿Ƶ Tech teach the prerequisite and general education courses.
Because admission to BSN programs is highly competitive, students work closely with pre-nursing advisors from OHSU on the OIT campus to tailor their academic plans and strengthen their preparation for entry into OHSU or other nursing programs nationwide.
