˿����Ƶ (˿����Ƶ Tech) faculty and staff members were welcomed back Sept. 20 with convocation events, including award presentations and preparation for the start of Fall Term.

˿����Ƶ Tech was ranked among the best schools in the nation in Forbes’ annual list of Top Colleges. The rankings list 500 schools – the top 20% of all four-year and graduate universities in the nation – with ˿����Ƶ Tech listed at No. 377 overall and No. 179 in Public Colleges.

˿����Ƶ Tech is one of the nation’s top universities based on contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service, according to Washington Monthly magazine’s “2022 College Guide and Rankings.”

The ˿����Ƶ (˿����Ƶ Tech) Board of Trustees announced Aug. 24 the selection of John Davis as its next chair and Vince Jones as vice chair. Their terms began at conclusion of the board meeting.
