˿Ƶ Tech ranked by Washington Monthly as a top degree in the nation

˿Ƶ Tech is one of the nation’s top universities based on contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and promoting public service, according to Washington Monthly magazine’s “2024 College Guide and Rankings.”

In addition to ranking high at No. 18 on the Bachelor’s Colleges Ranking, ˿Ƶ Tech is No. 38 on the magazine’s “Best Bang for the Buck West Colleges,” recognizing four-year institutions that “help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.”

˿Ƶ Tech was ranked among the best schools in the nation in . The rankings list 500 schools – the top 20% of all four-year and graduate universities in the nation – with ˿Ƶ Tech listed at No. 393 overall and No. 186 in Public Colleges.

According to Forbes, the annual list showcases 500 schools that produce successful, high-earning and influential graduates from all economic backgrounds, with less student debt.

˿Ƶ’s Regional Universities Build Strategic International Partnership in Taiwan

KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan — The presidents of ˿Ƶ’s public polytechnic and regional universities (TRUs) – Western ˿Ƶ University, Southern ˿Ƶ University, Eastern ˿Ƶ University, and ˿Ƶ – signed a memorandum of understanding on Aug. 15 with Wenzao University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The MOU aims to foster teacher-student exchanges, student mobility programs, joint research initiatives and Chinese language programs, all with the goal of cultivating international and cross-disciplinary talent.
