Registration is open for the Winter/Spring Critical Care Transport Series
OHSU/Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech's Critical Care Transport class series is the first of its kind offering flexible online learning, FP-C and CC-P exam prep, credits toward a paramedic centered BS degree, and hands-on clinical time in various ICU environments.
Critical Care Transport Overview
This two series Critical Care Transport class is designed to prepare the paramedic for advanced critical care on ground and air transports. This includes providing advanced clinical patient assessments and providing invasive care beyond the standard scope of advanced pre-hospital care.
Upon completion of this series the student may take the Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and/or the Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) exams held by the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).
The class is designed to bring in experts from different aspects of critical care in order to maximize learning. Later in this winter through spring series the student branches into OHSU clinical rotations with "hands-on" specialized ICU care rotations.
