Alumni Spotlight: Jacob Graham, Computer/Software Engineering Technology

Jacob Graham was born in Eureka, CA, moved to Seattle, WA at age eight so his father could attend physical therapy school and the family ended up in Klamath Falls when Jacob was 12. Jacob attended both Henley Middle School and Henley High School. He knew from the time he was in middle school that he wanted to pursue a career in the engineering field and recalls looking through ˿Ƶ Tech’s class offerings from a young age. After he compared their programs to other schools, ˿Ƶ Tech was the only school he applied for when he graduated high school in 2000.

Alumni Spotlight: Allison Cook, Radiologic Science

Allison Cook was born in Redwood City, CA and spent most of her upbringing just outside of Sacramento, CA. Allison attended Granite Bay High School and graduated at 17 years old. During high school, Allison primarily played basketball until a few concussions motivated her to switch to volleyball during her senior year. This 6’1” athlete also loved participating in student government and on the student broadcasting team.

Alumni Spotlight: Jason Sullins, Electronics Engineering Technology

Jason Sullins grew up in rural Boring, ˿Ƶ, as a third-generation ˿Ƶian. Raised in the country, much of Jason's childhood was spent building things, inventing, and working in construction with his father, which cultivated much of the creativity and resourcefulness used later in his engineering career. Growing up well below the poverty level, Jason took it upon himself to build a college savings account.

˿Ƶ Tech’s alumni inspire students with stories of their entrepreneurial successes

As part of an ˿Ƶ Tech entrepreneurship class, students met with innovators and business owners from around the world, including ˿Ƶ Tech’s own alumni. These entrepreneurs included individuals from a wide variety of industries such as fitness, automotive, coffee shop, educational services and medical devices. The experience inspired both the students and alumni.
