The Owens Citizenship Award, donated by the family of the late Rose and Vern J. Owens, is intended for one student each year, which has made outstanding contributions to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.  This is exemplified by high moral standards, participation in school activities, interest in the betterment of the student body, a cooperative attitude toward the faculty and fellow students, and a spirit of adventure in academic activities.The Outstanding Non-Traditional Student Award was established in 2012 by the Student Awards Commission to recognize a non-traditional student as an exemplary role model and for his/her contributions to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and/or other communities.



 
The Hiram M. Hunt Award, donated by the late Dr. Hiram M. Hunt, is presented to an individual or student group for a specific undergraduate student-led project judged to have made a significant contribution to their field.  Projects targeted for end of Spring term completion may be nominated.  Graduate level student work is not eligible for this award.  A presentation may be requested in support of a nomination.

The Student Achievement Award is presented to an undergraduate student in recognition of outstanding accomplishments such as senior projects, papers, presentations, or externship/practicum experiences that are judged overall to have made a significant contribution to the student’s academic area of interest.The Most Dedicated Student Award was established in 1967 by Jesse Barker who is a graduate of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.  He wanted to honor one undergraduate student each year who was involved in university activities and helped make a difference for the students.
 
The Outstanding Community Service Award is intended for that student or students who have made outstanding contributions to their communities.  This is exemplified by high moral standards, a cooperative attitude with community leaders, and demonstrated service to others.

President's Senior Cup Award

The President’s Senior Cup is awarded to one undergraduate Outstanding Scholar from the college of Engineering, Technology, and Management and one undergraduate Outstanding Scholar from the college of Health, Arts, and Sciences who has demonstrated superior academic excellence as evidenced by very high cumulative grade point averages and other scholarly activities such as impressive senior projects, published work or acceptance into graduate school, and other criteria such as dependability, willingness to help others, involvement in activities and organizations.

Hiram m. Hunter Award - Lauren Frost

The Owens Citizenship Award, donated by the family of the late Rose and Vern J. Owens, is intended for one student each year, which has made outstanding contributions to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.  This is exemplified by high moral standards, participation in school activities, interest in the betterment of the student body, a cooperative attitude toward the faculty and fellow students, and a spirit of adventure in academic activities.

The Outstanding Non-Traditional Student Award was established in 2012 by the Student Awards Commission to recognize a non-traditional student as an exemplary role model and for his/her contributions to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and/or other communities.

The Hiram M. Hunt Award, donated by the late Dr. Hiram M. Hunt, is presented to an individual or student group for a specific undergraduate student-led project judged to have made a significant contribution to their field.  Projects targeted for end of Spring term completion may be nominated.  Graduate level student work is not eligible for this award.  A presentation may be requested in support of a nomination.

Outstanding Community Service Award - Hasan Alramadan

The Student Achievement Award is presented to an undergraduate student in recognition of outstanding accomplishments such as senior projects, papers, presentations, or externship/practicum experiences that are judged overall to have made a significant contribution to the student’s academic area of interest. The Most Dedicated Student Award was established in 1967 by Jesse Barker who is a graduate of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.  He wanted to honor one undergraduate student each year who was involved in university activities and helped make a difference for the students. The Outstanding Community Service Award is intended for that student or students who have made outstanding contributions to their communities.  This is exemplified by high moral standards, a cooperative attitude with community leaders, and demonstrated service to others.

The Graduate Student Achievement Award was established in 2018 by the Student Awards Commission in recognition of a student’s outstanding accomplishments such as graduate projects, papers or presentations, research experiences that are judged overall to have made a significant contribution to the student’s academic area of interest.

The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Pride Award was established in 2003 by the Student Awards Commission to honor the student or students whose accomplishments bring outstanding recognition and pride to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech.

The Outstanding Academic Achievement Award is presented to a Portland-Metro undergraduate student graduating in 2021 in recognition of outstanding accomplishments such as student projects, papers, presentations, or externship/practicum experiences that are judged overall to have made a significant contribution to the student’s academic area of interest. °Õ³ó±ð Outstanding Student Involvement Award is presented to a Portland Metro student each year who fosters a sense of campus community and academic engagement among students, faculty and staff during the academic year.   °Õ³ó±ð Outstanding Student Involvement Award is presented to a Portland Metro student each year who fosters a sense of campus community and academic engagement among students, faculty and staff during the academic year.

President's Senior Cup Award

The President’s Senior Cup is awarded to one undergraduate Outstanding Scholar from the college of Engineering, Technology, and Management and one undergraduate Outstanding Scholar from the college of Health, Arts, and Sciences who has demonstrated superior academic excellence as evidenced by very high cumulative grade point averages and other scholarly activities such as impressive senior projects, published work or acceptance into graduate school, and other criteria such as dependability, willingness to help others, involvement in activities and organizations.
