A Little Bit Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Me
I was born in Israel. Five years ago, at the age of sixteen, my family and I moved to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. I barely knew English; therefore, the transition wasn't easy. A year after I moved here, Covid started which made everything extremely challenging. I started college and everything was online. Taking classes online without much English knowledge was not easy. I had amazing professors who supported me throughout my college journey and thanks to them, my English is excellent now. In addition, I work in an Amazon warehouse as a part-time job. I work at the return department there. Also, my academic interests include programming, web development, networking and more. During my free time, I like to play basketball, watch tv, and spend time with family and friends.
Why I Chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and My Major
I chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech because I've heard great recommendations and I love the small classes. Small classes help me stay more focused and feel more confident to participate in class. In small classes I have more personal connections with the professors and classmates. Growing up, I was always interested in this field. I used to go to many workshops and I loved it.
My Influential Professors
My influential professors are the ones who create a great class environment and try to get the best out of me. My first semester in Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech I had a great professor in my business class. The learning environment was great. I saw how important it was for her to ensure we felt comfortable in the classroom and also to get the best out of us. So far, she was the professor that influenced me the most. At the end of the semester, I felt like a new person and more confident. She and the rest of the professors that I had taught me skills that I can use in my life outside of school.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech
My greatest learning experience at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech is the small classes. The professors make classes interesting, challenging, and meaningful. They encourage students to talk with each other about specific subjects as well as motivate us to work as a group. Personally, having small classes creates learning better and more efficiently. I have a personal connection with professors and other students which helps me a lot.
My Plans After Graduation
Through an internship or a job, I'm planning to have one or two years of experience before I graduate. Afterward, I want to find a job so I can use the knowledge that I gained throughout my time at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech to contribute in the field. I also want to do a master's degree to enrich my knowledge and skills. Companies that I'm interested in are Amazon, Google, Intel, Facebook, and more.
