A Little Bit Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Me
I am a student-athlete here at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech. I am a senior on the Men's Basketball team. Growing up in the little town of Mount Shasta, there wasn't much to do. There wasn't a mall to hang out at or many places to go out to eat, which made me a pretty active kid. I was also a pretty shy kid growing up. I was not outgoing at all and wouldn't smile at a stranger. That all changed when I started playing basketball. I started playing basketball in the sixth grade. I tried out for our middle school team back then and was devastated when I found out I hadn't made it. I kept working and eventually made the team in seventh grade. I have stuck with playing basketball since sixth grade, and now I am blessed to be on a college basketball team!
Why I Chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and My Major
I chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech because I knew about the great education they have to offer and the great job placement that this school provides. I also chose this school because I was recruited here by the head Men's Basketball coach.
My Influential Professors
My most influential professors are Dr. Kevin Brown and Dr. Riley Richards.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech
So far, my greatest learning experience from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech has been how to become more self-sufficient and also learning how to communicate with all kinds of people effectively.
My Plans After Graduation
My plan for the future after I graduate is to immediately go back to my hometown and attempt to join the Parks and Recreation department in order to create more activities/events for children and seniors. I also plan, for the future, to become a basketball coach.
