A Little Bit Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Me
I grew up in Sherwood, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, home of the Bowmen, yes as in the Sherwood forest from Robin Hood. I love sports and played basketball, football, tennis, and track in high school. Basketball has always been my favorite sport but football and tennis hold a special place in my heart as I miss playing them very much! This love for sports is what got me into sports psychology. I have a strong desire to help athletes like myself become the best version of themselves that they can be! I enjoy coaching and mentoring as well!
Why I Chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech and My Major
I chose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech because of the culture we have in school and athletics. The student body and faculty here make me feel welcome and have made my experience in school great. The same can be said for my major, the psychology department does a great job and has helped me feel like I can achieve all my post graduation goals.
My Influential Professors
An influential professor for me is Doctor Trevor Petersen. He's helped me get involved with the applied psychology program is very active in making sure all my classes are set up and I'm taken care of.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech
For me, the biggest thing I've learned about is holding myself accountable. I owe it to myself, my family, my teammates, coaches, fans, etc. to hold myself accountable in school and in basketball. It's very important to me to get things done in the classroom and on the basketball court and only I can make sure that happens.
My Plans After Graduation
After school I plan on going to graduate school to pursue a master's degree in sport's psychology, hopefully working as a sport's psychologist on a college campus eventually.
