Why did you choose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech?
The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. I enjoy working closely with other students and faculty. Fewer hoops to jump through with a larger population. It’s easier to get work done. I love the ambitious feel. There are a lot of brilliant students here that can achieve anything.
What do you like best about your major?
The people. And less coding (chuckle). I enjoy a more macro level of engineering involving moving parts and working with my hands. Designing solutions to problems and building those solutions is the greatest feeling I know. The faculty in the ME (Mechanical Engineering) department are fantastic.
What is your favorite memory from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech?
This is difficult to nail down to a single memory. There are many good ones. Coming to school to find balloons with the RockSat team names alerting us to our grant proposal award. Finding out we were chosen to send out experiments into space. Finding how many faculty and advisors were eager to help me with wanting to help frontline workers get the PPE they need the best ways we could. Putting on Space Night at PM campus. Being nominated for awards. Getting any and all help I’ve ever needed. Healthy active challenge. Meeting my best friends. So many good memories.
What career do you hope to have after you graduate from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech?
My Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech academic career has been focused and centered around Aerospace. I would love to attain a position at an aerospace company specializing in structures, materials and design.
What clubs or activities are you involved with? What are some highlights of your involvement?

COVID-19 Response (PPE Equipment Project) – Founder/Project Lead– We don’t wanna get sick and we think you shouldn’t either! We make face shields and in the process of making emergency deployable ventilators.
Student Goal Coach – With students having to stay home and having online classes, it may be hard to get motivated to stay on task. I was asked to help students at the PM campus to see if there are ways to help them achieve their goals.
What would you say to the donor or donors who support Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech? What does their support mean to you?
With donor support, we were able to do so much more for our community project by providing more supplies to more organizations. Support like this means everything to the students for their success, the success of the school and the future of incoming students. I am grateful for the opportunities that Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech has presented me
