Leah Jolly, an Assistant Professor and Program Director of Vascular Technology at ˿Ƶ Tech, was elected to the Board of Directors of Inteleos, a global non-profit medical certification organization.
"I am excited to represent the sonography community on the Inteleos Board of Directors and hope to aid in their mission of ensuring equitable access to quality care for all,” said Jolly.
Jolly’s term began Jan. 1 and extends to Dec. 31, 2025.
Inteleos is a non-profit certification organization that delivers rigorous assessments and cultivates a global community of professionals dedicated to the highest standards in healthcare and patient safety. Inteleos is the overarching governance and management organization for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (APCA), and the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy, which together represents over 139,000 certified medical professionals throughout the world.
Jolly is an ARDMS Certified Sonographer who joined the faculty at ˿Ƶ Tech in 2014. She earned a bachelor’s degree in vascular technology from ˿Ƶ Tech in 2003, fulfilling her externship requirement in New York at Montefiore Medical Center. After graduation, Jolly worked at Mint Medical in the San Francisco Bay Area. She worked as a staff sonographer, then as technical director of the vascular laboratory at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara) for 11 years.
Jolly consults for Mint Medical, teaching interpretation courses for physicians and aiding practicing sonographers in improving their vascular skills. She is also a Registered Vascular Technologist and Registered Phlehology Sonographer.
