Following the , the South Metro-Salem STEM Partnership has expanded their partnerships to reach a wider area of students.

Made up of 15 Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ school districts, and serving a total of 120,000 students, the South Metro-Salem STEM Partnership includes six post-secondary institutions and 20 businesses and community organizations.

The Salem STEM hub has three initiatives:

  • providing professional development for teachers;
  • connecting organizations and schools through an online network;
  • bringing more college-level courses to high schools

Founded in Klamath Falls in 1947, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ is one of seven universities in the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ University System, and the only public institute of technology in the Pacific Northwest.
