Military Friendly® School by Victory Media
Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities by Military Advanced Education
Top Veteran-Friendly Schools by U.S. Veterans Magazine
#2 Best Colleges for Veterans by U.S. News & World Report

More than 1,600 schools participated in the 2017 Victory Media Military Friendly® School survey and ratings methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by Victory Media with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining the institution’s survey scores with the assessment of the institution’s ability to meet thresholds for Student Retention, Graduation, Job Placement, Loan Repayment, Persistence (Degree Advancement or Transfer) and Loan Default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.

Military Advanced Education scores and evaluates each participant to determine which institutions have reached a specific benchmark in order to be deemed an “MAE Top School.” With a record number of schools participating in the 2016 Guide, and criteria based on recommendations from the VA and military services, MAE’s Guide to Colleges & Universities provides the foundational information that a prospective student would use in framing his or her educational needs. The extensive student-centric questionnaire evaluates higher education institutions on military culture, financial aid for veterans, flexibility, on-campus support, and online support services.

U.S. Veterans Magazine lists were compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm’s agents and/or affiliates. The annual review is an evaluation of the nation’s employers, initiatives, government agencies and educational institutions.

The university also reappeared on Best Colleges for Veterans as No. 2 in Western Regional Colleges by U.S. News & World Report. Schools listed participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees. The list provides military veterans and active-duty service members with rankings among schools that are certified for the G.I. Bill® and participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The ˿Ƶ Tech Student Veterans Program (SVP) is dedicated to satisfying the needs of any veteran at the university during and after their time as a student, staff, or faculty member. ˿Ƶ Tech’s Veterans Certifying Official (VCO) works with the Veterans Administration to deliver educational benefits to a variety of veterans, selected reservists, dependents, and survivors.
