The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Senate has confirmed five new trustees for the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ governing board. The trustees, confirmed June 16, are Cecelia Amuchastegui, David Cauble, Vijay Dhir, Ph.D., Johnnie Early II, Ph.D., and Don Gentry.
- Cecelia Amuchastegui is a strategic planning/teacher evaluation education consultant in Klamath Falls, Ore.
- David Cauble is President and Chief Executive Officer at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Ore.
- Vijay Dhir, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of California, Los Angeles.
- Johnnie Early II, Ph.D., is Dean and Professor of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Florida A&M University.
- Don Gentry is a Natural Resources Specialist for the Klamath Tribes in Chiloquin, Ore.
The 15-member Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Board of Trustees consists of 11 at-large positions; three positions filled by faculty, staff, and student members; and an ex-officio position held by Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech’s President.
The newly confirmed trustees began their service July 1, filling the positions of end-of-term trustees Jeremy Brown, Ph.D., Kathleen Hill, Jill Mason, Kelley Minty, and Fred Ziari.
