Congratulations to ˿Ƶ Tech graduate student Serena Moha, EI for presenting her research at the 2024 ˿Ƶ State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying (OSBEELS) Symposium. The symposium gathered more than 1,000 ˿Ƶ engineering and surveying professionals to highlight impactful work being done throughout the state. Moha is originally from Warrenton, Ore., and will graduate from ˿Ƶ Tech in 2025 with a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering. Moha began the research with fellow student Kacie Schmidt. Moha presented her current research project, "Investigating Crack Resistance of Southern ˿Ƶ Asphalt Pavement Mixtures,” which investigates the effect of incorporating aramid/polyolefin fibers into asphalt mixes.
