Business Management student Earl Van Order went on a spontaneous hike over the weekend in Klamath County and came across beautiful sights at Lake of the Woods. "We started our hike through deep snow at the Golden Meadows truck stop that connects to Lake of the Woods. After we got to Lake of the Woods, we then saw how beautiful the lake was when it was covered with ice, " Van Order said. During colder winters, Lake of the Woods freezes and has some of the best ice fishing in the U.S. It's also a great spot for snowshoeing or just walking across the frozen lake.
