Caroline shares, "The program has taught me that civil engineers not only need to understand how to design safe infrastructure, but they also need to understand the impact their projects have on the natural environment and the surrounding communities. Safety, equity, and sustainability are at the core of every civil engineering project. I truly feel that the Civil Engineering department is setting me up to make a positive impact in my professional career."
