We had a great visit from Pacific Power Regional Business Manager Todd Andres with a check for Pacific Power Foundation Scholarships!
The Pacific Power Foundation Scholarship will benefit three engineering students from Pacific Power communities for the 23-24 academic year, with a preference for those pursuing degrees in Renewable Energy Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
These scholarships will significantly reduce financial barriers and empower three deserving students to pursue the education of their dreams, dramatically increase their economic and professional prospects, and add to the vitality of the energy engineering workforce of the future.
The Pacific Power Foundation is part of the PacifiCorp Foundation, one of the largest utility-endowed foundations in the United States. The foundation was created by PacifiCorp, an energy company that serves over 2 million customers across a diverse six-state region as Rocky Mountain Power (Utah, Wyoming and Idaho) and Pacific Power (Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, Washington and California). The foundation’s mission, through charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of the communities served by Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power. Since it started in 1988, the foundation has awarded more than $60 million to nonprofit organizations. For more information, visit .
Thank you, Pacific Power!
