Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech celebrated a white coat ceremony and lab dedication on Sept. 21 for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, offered in partnership with Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Health & Science University (OHSU). The white coat ceremony marks the formal entry of DPT students into the profession and is the second cohort of students with the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech/OHSU partnership. The lab dedications celebrated contributions from Sky Lakes Medical Center and the Klamath Medical Service Bureau (KMSB) Foundation to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Foundation’s Campaign for the Future Rural Health Fund. The KMSB Foundation lab was dedicated in memory of Frank Ganong, James Bocchi, and Gil Hannigan, longtime board members of the KMSB Foundation, recognizing their legacy and service to the community. The funds from Sky Lakes and the KMSB Foundation support the growing demand for physical therapists, especially in rural areas. As healthcare shifts toward proactive and preventive care, physical therapy is crucial in supporting regional patient health. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech is honored by the support of Sky Lakes and the KMSB Foundation.
