Congratulations to two seniors in OIT Civil Engineering who were each awarded scholarships from the ˿Ƶ American Public Works Association (APWA) Scholastic Foundation. 🎉🏅
Garrett Oman was awarded the APWA Civil Engineering Scholarship to continue pursuing a career in the broad field of Public Works. Garrett spent the summer working with Bonneville Power Administration in transmission services engineering after working for two summers with the ˿Ƶ Department of Transportation.
Anna Sheadel was awarded the APWA-Asphalt Pavement Association of ˿Ƶ Scholarship to support the study of transportation infrastructure and spread the word to other civil engineering students. Anna worked three summers with the Jackson County Road Department and currently works for the Klamath County Public Works Department's engineering division.
