You're considered a first-year student if you meet one or more of the following:

  • you'll graduate high school within one year
  • you've earned fewer than 12 college credits since graduating high school or earning your GED
  • you're dual enrolled but haven't yet graduated from high school

Programs with Additional Requirements

If you're applying to one of the programs below, look carefully at the application instructions. These programs will require an application for general admission to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech (see apps above) and an application to the professional program (see apps below).

The Medical Laboratory Science program consists of the pre-professional and professional phases of study.

The Dental Hygiene program requires students to complete the pre-dental curriculum. After completing the pre-dental curriculum, students can apply for entry into the DHE program. Current dental hygienists can apply directly to the Online Degree Completion program using the Undergraduate Online Transfer application above.

Admission to the Respiratory Care program requires successful completion of a year of prerequisite coursework prior to admission into the program. Current respiratory therapists can apply directly to the Online Degree Completion program using the Undergraduate Online Transfer application above.

Students are required to complete the First Year Curriculum (Pre-Medical Imaging Technology) before admission into a medical imaging program. Current medical imaging professionals can apply directly to the Online Degree Completion programs using the Undergraduate Online Transfer application above.

The Paramedic Education program consists of the pre-professional and professional phases of study.
