Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech’s IDEAfest is an event intended to showcase the type of projects that students conduct during their studies at the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.

The event is held annually at the end of Spring term at both the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses. It provides an opportunity for students from the different programs to share their work, as well as get to see other projects.

IDEAfest includes project posters and demonstrations. Students, faculty, family members, employers, educational and industrial partners, as well as other members of the public are invited to attend.

Student Project Poster Session Portland-Metro Room 120, 122 5:00pm-6:30pm     Junior, senior, and graduate students present posters on their capstone, research, thesis, or other class projects. Students from multiple disciplines will present, including Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy (EERE), Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, and Technology  (MMET), Computer Systems Engineering (CSET), and others.

Open educational practices have been shown to improve student engagement, help address retention issues, and create a better sense of inclusion. This panel will consist of lightning talks by faculty, followed by an open forum for discussion and questions.
