Frequently Asked Questions

Since 2000, the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) has gathered data on first-year and senior student experience across US and Canadian colleges and universities. The experience includes the amount of time and effort students put into their studies and other educationally purposeful activities, and how the institution deploys its resources and organizes the curriculum and other learning opportunities. More detailed information is available at .

During survey years, the survey invitation is sent via email to first-year and senior undergraduate students who took courses in both fall and winter terms, using your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech email address. The NSSE survey link in each email is unique to the recipient. By clicking on the link, you will be directed to the actual survey hosted by NSSE.

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech encourages students to participate in completing this survey to provide valuable feedback used to help improve student success and the undergraduate experience. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech has used this data to identify aspects of the student experience that can be improved through changes in policy and practices; how students spend their time; and what they gain from their experiences.
