Basin High School Students:

The Library contains approximately 140,000 books and bound periodicals, and subscribes to over 1,200 periodicals. We have over 90 online databases as well as Federal and Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ State documents. Please feel free to make full use of these resources while visiting our library.

Printing and Copying

Please see the "How do I print?" section on the Library FAQ page.

You may also elect to bring a USB drive (thumb drive) and download your information onto it. In addition, many of our databases allow you to email information to yourself.

Interlibrary Loan

Occasionally, you will find that we do not own the book or magazine that you need. When this occurs, write down the full bibliographic citation (author, title, date of publication, journal issue number, and pagination) and request this material through your high school or your local public library.

Borrower's Card Application

In order to check out Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Library materials, you will need to apply for a Courtesy Borrower's Card. For this application, you need to bring in your high school identification card. You will also need to know your Social Security number, which serves as your Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech identification number. Your borrowing account at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech will expire at the end of June.

Computer Use

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech offers access to many different databases through the Library computers. These databases can only be accessed at the Library unless you are a registered Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech student or employee. Because of the variety of databases, ask at the Help Desk if you need help locating material.

Library Services available to Dual Credit and HST Program Students

In addition to the services available to all area high school students, those students who are taking classes through Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech are offered some additional services. Students who are in the Dual Credit or the High School Transition Program are eligible to apply for off-campus access to library databases and can request Interlibrary Loan services from the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech library.
