Prohibited Discrimination:
The university’s OIT-01-003 Prohibited Discrimination and Discriminatory Harassment policy, and OIT-01-004 Prohibited Sexual Misconduct policy Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech Policies define prohibited discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; outlines reporting options and obligations; and describe the investigation process for complaints of discriminatory misconduct. Mandatory Reporting - Child Abuse:
All Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech employees have a mandatory obligation to report child abuse. This means that employees must immediately report child abuse to the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Department of Human Services. This reporting obligation applies regardless of whether you witness abuse at, or outside of, work.
Fraud, Waste and Abuse Reporting:
Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech has a responsibility to prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse and to hold accountable those who engage in it. If you are aware of fraud, waste, or abuse occurring within Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech, matters can be reported to:

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech as contracted with EthicsPoint, and an independent, third-party vendor to provide this confidential and anonymous telephone and internet system for report8ing your concerns. When employees do not feel comfortable discussing these concerns directly with campus management, reports can be made through the hotline.

Whistleblower Protection:
Employees who identify themselves and make a good faith report of suspected fraud, waste, or abuse are protected from retaliation, in accordance with the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ State Whistleblowers Protection law ORS 659A. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Tech will take steps to maintain confidentiality for employees reporting suspected financial irregularities, misconduct, safety issues, or other concerns to the extent possible under the law.
