As CIO, Atchley will bring her significant experience in higher education and information technology consulting to provide vision, leadership, integrative management and direction for the University's information systems, and continue ˿Ƶ Tech efforts to promote a leading-edge computing environment for faculty, staff and students. She will also be responsible for institution-wide strategic planning and budgeting for information technologies, and coordination and integration of university information technology across all locations in Klamath Falls, the Portland-Metro campus in Wilsonville, and at sites in Salem and Seattle.
“We’re looking forward to Ms. Atchley joining us at ˿Ƶ Tech in this important role,” said Dr. Nagi Naganathan, president of ˿Ƶ Tech. “She will continue the high quality work begun by her predecessor, Dr. Jones, and will be instrumental in developing our classroom and lab technology as well as our technical infrastructure to support the success of the institution. Atchley has been with ˿Ƶ State University in Corvallis, ˿Ƶ, since 2017, serving as information technology services director/university shared services enterprise (USSE) director. She has been responsible for developing and managing the USSE functional teams, budget, software and service agreements; successfully restructured the Information Technology Services team and aligning the departments to increase business efficiency. Before joining OSU, Atchley was global operations project director at Ellucian, and worked with the company beginning in 2011. Atchley also worked previously at OSU in a variety of technical and leadership positions beginning in 1998.
“Throughout my 10-year relationship with ˿Ƶ Tech, I have looked for opportunities to support the institution,” said Atchley. “˿Ƶ Tech’s emphasis on growth, program relevance and becoming a nationally recognized public polytechnic university will rely on strong partnerships among information technology, business units and faculty. I am excited to come on board to be part of that journey with the University.”
The position of CIO and associate vice president of Information Technology Services is a department within the Finance and Administration (F&A) division at ˿Ƶ Tech. The position works directly with vice president of F&A, Brian Fox, and other senior leaders across the university to align ITS efforts with the University’s technology goals.

Atchley received a master’s in Applied Information Management from University of ˿Ƶ; and a bachelor’s in Information Management from ˿Ƶ State University.
